How do I access and modify Account Settings?

This guide provides detailed instructions on how to access and modify your account settings on Rapid.lk. You will learn how to update your personal information and manage your account preferences.

Step 1: Accessing Account Settings

  • Go to My Account > Settings.
  • Click on the Settings tab to view and manage your personal details.

Step 2: Configuring Settings 

Once you are in the Settings tab, you can access and edit information across different sections. 

Personal Settings Tab: 

In this section, you can view and update your personal details. 

Avatar (Profile Picture) 

  • Click the Upload or Change button to upload a new profile picture

First Name and Last Name 

  • Update your First Name and Last Name in the respective fields.

Email Address 

  • Enter your email and click on "Save". To verify the account click on "Get Code' and insert the OTP received to your new email address.

Verification Code 

  • Click the GET CODE button
  • A verification code will be sent to your registered email.
  • Retrieve the code from your email and enter it in the provided field.
  • After saving, the site will display "Email already verified" under the Email field.

Phone Number 

  • Enter or update your phone number in the designated field.

Password 

  • To set a new password, enter it in the password field.

*NOTE: Leave this field blank if you wish to retain your current password. 

Verification Tab: 

In the Verification Tab, you can manage your identity and address verification information. 

  • Prompt Verify: Check this box to enable prompt verification requests.
  • Identity Verification: Upload or update required identity documents.
  • National ID Card
  • Business Card
  • Passport
  • Driver’s License
  • Address Verification: Enter or update your address details.
  • Street and Street 2: Enter your street name
  • City/ Town: Add your city or town.
  • Postcode/ZIP: Enter your postal code.
  • Province: Add your province.

Step 3: Save Changes 

After making any changes in the Personal Settings or Verification tabs; 

  • Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  • Click the “Save” button to apply all updates.
  • A confirmation message will appear, stating: “Profile saved successfully”.
