How to Create a Vehicle Ad?

Step 1: Access the Product Page 

  • Go to the Product page in your vendor dashboard. 
  • Click on the "Add New" button to start creating a new ad. 

Step 2: Add Product Details 

You will be directed to the Add Product page, where you can enter the necessary details for your vehicle ad. 

  • 1. Select Product Type:
  • Set Product Type as "Vehicles" to specify this is a vehicle ad
  • 2. Enter Product Title:
  • Enter a descriptive title for your vehicle ad
  • E.g.: "2018 Honda Civic EX" 
  • 3. Set Price:
  • Specify the price for the vehicle 
  • E.g.: “3,200,000” 
  • 4. District:
  • Select the district from the provided dropdown list. 
  • E.g.: “Colombo” 
  • City: After selecting the district, the City field will appear. Choose your city from the dropdown list. 
  • E.g.: “Homagama” 
  • 5. Description:
  • Provide a detailed description of the vehicle, including its features and condition. 
  • E.g.: “Example: "Well-maintained 2015 Toyota Corolla Altis with leather seats, alloy wheels, and excellent fuel efficiency."   ” 
  • 6. Vehicle Specification:
  • Fill in details under Vehicle Specifications to help buyers understand the key features. 
  • Model: Specify the model's name (Ex: Corolla Altis) 
  • Model Year: Enter the vehicle's manufacture year. (Ex: 2018) 
  • Engine Capacity (CC): Mention the engine capacity. (Ex: 1500) 
  • Mileage (KM): Enter the vehicle's total mileage. (Ex: 125,000) 
  • Transmission Type: Select the transmission type from the dropdown 
  • Automatic 
  • Manual 
  • Triptonic
  • Fuel Type: Choose the fuel type from the dropdown lists. 
  • Petrol 
  • Diesel 
  • Hybrid 
  • Electric 
  • 7. Product Details

Click on Product Details to fill in specific conditions and pricing options: 

  • Manufacturer: Select the manufacturer from the dropdown list (e.g., BMW, Bajaj, Acura, Bosch, Audi, etc.). 
  • Condition of the Product: Select the product's condition. 
  • Brand New 
  • Used
  • Reconditioned
  • Product Price Is Negotiable: Check this box if the price can be negotiated. 
  • 8. Contact Details
  • Click on Contact Details to add your contact information for potential buyers: 
  • Contact Number (Primary): Enter the primary contact number. 
  • Example: "07123xxxx" 
  • Contact Number (Additional): Enter a secondary contact number (optional). 
  • Click the "Submit" button to publish your vehicle ad on Rapid.lk.
