How to Create a Vehicle Part Ad?

Step 1: Access the Product Page 

  • Post Ad > Add New 
  • Click on the "Add New" button to start creating your posting ad. 

Step 2: Add Product Details

You will be directed to the Add Product page, where you can enter the necessary details for your vehicle part ad. 

  • 1. Select Product Type: 
  • Choose "Vehicle Parts" from the product type options.
  • 2. Enter Product Title:
  • Fill in the title of your product (e.g., "Front Brake Pads"). 
  • 3. Set Price:
  • Enter the price for the vehicle part. (e.g., "300000"). 
  • 4. District:
  • Select the district from the provided dropdown list 
  • E.g.: Select “Colombo” 
  • Once you select the district, a City field will appear. Choose the specific city within the district from the dropdown options. 
  • E.g.: Select “Homagama" 
  • 5. Description:
  • In the provided text box, add a detailed description of the vehicle part. 
  • E.g.: “Selling genuine Toyota brake pads suitable for Corolla models (2015-2020). Brand new and never used, ensuring optimal braking performance” 
  • 6. Parts Specification::

Click on “Parts Specification”: This section will display additional fields: 

  • Vehicle Part Type: Select the type of vehicle part from the options provided. 
  • E.g.: Select “Brake System” 
  • 7. Product Details:

Click on “Product Details” and then Expand the Product Details section to add more information: 

  • Manufacturer: Select the part’s manufacturer from the dropdown options. 
  • E.g.: Choose “Bosch” 
  • Condition of the Product: Choose the condition from the dropdown: 
  • Brand New 
  • Used 
  • Reconditioned 
  • Product Price Is Negotiable: Check the box if you are open to negotiating the price. 
  • 8. Contact Details:

Click on “Product Details” and then Expand the Product Details section to add more information: 

  • Contact Number (Primary): Provide your main contact number. 
  • E.g.: Enter  071 123xxxx. 
  • Contact Number (Additional): Optionally, include an additional contact number. 

Click the “Submit” button to publish your vehicle part ad on Rapid.lk.
